Best Practices
Fast Track AI understands natural language, so you don't need to learn a special syntax.
However, the way you describe your request can affect the usefulness of the result.
The best approach is to be clear about the outcome you want and provide the context that matters.
1. Be specific
Include the important dimensions of your request.
A useful structure is:
Metric + breakdown + timeframe
For example:
"Show NGR by market for the last seven days."
Instead of:
"Show me NGR."
2. Define the timeframe
Be clear about the period you want to analyse.
For example:
"Compare July with June."
or:
"Show the last 30 days."
Avoid unnecessarily broad time ranges when you only need a recent trend.
3. Specify the breakdown
If you want to compare data, say how.
For example:
"Show NGR by brand and market."
4. Ask for the output format you need
If you want a table, chart, or concise answer, say so.
For example:
"Return the top 10 results as a table."
or:
"Show the trend as a monthly chart."
This can make the result easier to use and can also avoid unnecessary output.
5. Start broad, then refine
You don't have to include every question in the first prompt.
Start with the main question, review the result, and then ask follow-up questions.
For example:
"Show me our top-performing campaigns this month."
Then:
"Which had the lowest bonus cost?"
Then:
"Compare those with last month."
6. Use the same conversation for related work
If you're investigating one topic, keep related questions in the same conversation.
This allows Fast Track AI to use the existing context.
7. Start a new conversation when you change topic
If you move to an unrelated topic, start a new conversation.
Shorter, focused conversations are easier to follow and can reduce unnecessary context and token usage.
8. Keep large inputs focused
If you attach a large file or provide a large amount of text, make sure the information is relevant to the task.
Where possible, remove unnecessary information before attaching it.
9. Review AI-generated results
Always review important analysis and actions before relying on them.
Fast Track AI works with the data available to it, and the quality of its results depends on the quality and availability of that data.
