Manage Trigger Events is found under Settings → CRM → Manage Trigger Events in the left-hand navigation. It is where operators configure the events that can fire automations and drive activity-based targeting within Fast Track CRM.
A Trigger Event represents a player action or system occurrence — such as a payment, login, registration, or bonus update — that can be used to trigger lifecycle activities, campaigns, and real-time automations. Each event has a Notification Type that maps it to the underlying data feed, and can carry a set of Trigger Event Fields that expose event-level data (e.g. payment amount, bonus code) for use in targeting and personalisation.

Permissions & Access Control

Access to Manage Segment Fields is limited to Users with the following permissions:
PermissionWhat it allows

Trigger events that are actively used by live activities cannot be disabled. If you attempt to disable such an event, the system will display a warning: "This trigger event cannot be disabled because it is in use by some activities." To disable the event, the associated activities must first be paused or deactivated.

The Trigger Events List

The Trigger Events list displays all configured events with the following columns:
ColumnDescription
ID
A unique system-assigned numeric identifier for the event.
Name
The display name of the event (e.g. Payment, Login, Registration).
Notification Type
The underlying event type that maps to the data feed (e.g. EnrichedPayment, EnrichedLoginEvent).
Description
A plain-language explanation of when the event fires (e.g. "Event which is fired when a player performs a payment").
Enabled
A green tick indicates the event is active. A red cross indicates it is disabled.

Searching

Use the Search bar (top-right of the list) to filter events by name or notification type.

Show Trigger Counts

Click the Show Trigger Counts button (top-right, above the list) to display how many Activities are using this trigger Type.

Exporting Trigger Events

Click Export Events (top-right corner) to download the full list of trigger events for reference or auditing purposes.

Creating a New Trigger Event

  1. Click the New Event button in the top-right corner.
  2. The Trigger Event Details panel will open. Complete the following:

General Details

FieldDescription
Name
A clear display name for the event (e.g. Payment, User Bonus). This is how the event will appear when selecting triggers in activities.
Notification Type
The system-level event type that this trigger maps to (e.g. EnrichedPayment). This must match the notification type emitted by the platform integration.
Event Description
A plain-language explanation of when this event fires. This is displayed in the list view and helps other operators understand the event's purpose.
Segment Type
Defines which type of segment is evaluated when this event fires (e.g. User Segment).
Is Enabled?
Check this box to make the event active and available for use in activities.
Allow targeting blocked/excluded players?
Check this box if activities using this event should be able to target players who are blocked or excluded. Leave unchecked in most cases.
  1. After completing General Details, at least one Trigger Event Field must be added before the event can be saved (see below).
  2. Click Create to save the new event.

Trigger Event Fields

Each trigger event contains one or more Trigger Event Fields — these are the individual data attributes carried by the event that can be used for targeting conditions and personalisation (e.g. amount, base_amount, bonus_code).
Each field displays its Label, Description, and Value Type (e.g. double, string).
Fields within an existing event can be edited (pencil icon), reviewed for Change logs (clock icon), or deleted (bin icon) individually.

Enabling or Disabling a Trigger Event

  1. To disable an event, open it and uncheck Is Enabled?, then click Update. If the event is in use by active activities, the system will block this action and display a warning.
  2. To re-enable an event, toggle Is Enabled? back on and click Update.
Disabling an event prevents it from firing new automations but does not retroactively affect historical activity data.

Field Types & Query Builder Settings

Trigger Event Fields use the same value types as Segment Fields, for more information on this, review the article on how to Manage Segment Fields.
