Tournament Instances 🔁

For Recurring tournaments, each run of the tournament is tracked as a separate Instance. The Instances view gives you a clear picture of where each cycle stands — whether it's currently running, scheduled to start, or has already ended.
To access the Instances view:
  1. Navigate to Rewards → Tournaments.
  2. Find the tournament you want to inspect.
  3. Click the ellipsis (⋮ menu) on the right-hand side of the tournament row.
  4. Select Instances.
The Instances page is divided into three sections:
  1. Running Instances — tournaments currently in progress.
  2. Upcoming Instances — scheduled future runs.
  3. Ended Instances — completed cycles, including participant count, end date, and payout status.
Each row in the Ended Instances table shows:
ColumnDescription
Start Date
When this instance began
End Date
When this instance ended
Participants
Number of players who took part
Paid Out
The date prizes were paid, or "Not paid out" if pending

Cloning a Tournament

If you want to reuse an existing tournament's configuration — for example, to run the same competition again with minor adjustments — you can clone it directly from the Tournaments list.
  1. In Rewards → Tournaments, locate the tournament you want to copy.
  2. Click the ellipsis (⋮ menu) on the right of the row.
  3. Select Clone tournament.
The cloned tournament will be created as a new Draft, with all settings copied from the original. You can then edit it as needed before activating.

Stopping a Tournament

Once a tournament has been launched, it cannot be edited — all settings are locked for the duration of the tournament. If you need to make changes, you'll need to stop the tournament and create a new one.
Stopping a tournament is permanent. A stopped tournament cannot be restarted or resumed. Make sure you're certain before proceeding.
To stop a running tournament:
  1. Navigate to Rewards → Tournaments.
  2. Open the tournament you want to stop.
  3. Click the Stop option from within the tournament settings.
Once stopped, the tournament's status will update accordingly in the Tournaments list. If you want to run the same tournament again, you can clone it (see Cloning a Tournament above) and relaunch it as a new draft.

Manual Payout 💰‍

When a Tournament is configured with Manual payout, prizes are not distributed automatically at the end of each cycle. Instead, you control exactly when the payout happens — giving you the opportunity to review the leaderboard before any prizes go out.

Identifying tournaments that need payout

When one or more tournaments are awaiting a manual payout, a yellow banner will appear at the top of the Tournaments list page, alerting you to take action.
Tournaments that need payout are also clearly marked in the list with a "Needs payout" badge next to their name.

Processing a payout from the Instances view

  1. Go to Rewards → Tournaments and open the relevant tournament's Instances view via the ellipsis (⋮ menu)Instances.
  2. In the Ended Instances table, find the instance you want to pay out. Unpaid instances will show "Not paid out" in the Paid Out column.
  3. Click the payout icon (document icon) on the right of the row to open the Payout Preview.

Reviewing the Payout Preview

The Payout Preview panel shows you the full leaderboard for that instance before any prizes are distributed. Review the rankings carefully before confirming.
The table includes:
ColumnDescription
Rank
Player's finishing position
User ID
The player's ID on your platform
Score
Their score at the end of the tournament
Bonuses
The prize they will receive
Origin
Player origin ID
Communication Profile

Once you've reviewed the leaderboard, click Payout in the top-right corner of the panel.

Approving the payout

A confirmation modal will appear asking you to acknowledge the action before proceeding.
  1. Read the confirmation message: "You are about to pay out this tournament instance."
  2. Toggle on "I have reviewed the leaderboard and confirm the payout".
  3. Click Payout to process.
Once confirmed, the payout will be processed and the instance's Paid Out date will update in the Ended Instances table.

You can view a player's tournament participation directly from their Player Profile in FT CRM.
  1. Open the player's profile and navigate to the Rewards tab.
  2. Select Tournaments from the sub-navigation.
The Player Tournaments table shows all tournaments the player has been part of, split into two views:
  1. Running — tournaments the player is currently participating in.
  2. Completed — finished tournaments.
Each row displays:

Player Profile - Tournament Events

For a granular view of how a player built up their tournament score, you can open the Tournament Timeline directly from the Player Tournaments table.
Click on any tournament row to open the Tournament Timeline panel for that instance.
The timeline lists every scoring event for that player within the tournament window, ordered from most recent to oldest. Each row shows:
ColumnDescription
Timestamp
When the event was recorded
Outcome
Whether the event was Accepted or Denied
Round ID
The unique identifier for the game round
Score
Points contributed by this event
Total Score
Player's cumulative score at that point
Contributing Amount
The wagered amount that drove this event (e.g. "4 EUR")
Denied Reason

You can filter the event list using the All / Accepted / Denied toggle in the top-right of the panel to focus on a specific outcome type.
💡 Tip: The Tournament Timeline is especially useful for investigating disputes or verifying that a player's score was calculated correctly — you can trace every accepted round right back to the contributing wager.§1
